The Readers of mtbr.com voted the Mach 4 "Best Full Suspension XC Bike" of 2009 and the Mach 5 "The Best Full Suspension All Mountain Bike"
May '09 - Did 5 days of riding/demoing riding 7 of the 7Stanes trail centres, Mabie, Dalbeattie, Ae, Kirroughtree, Glentress and Innerleithen. Both the Mach 4 and the Mach 5s were great fun on the trail and never put a foot wrong. It has to be said though that when the trails got fast and technical the Mach 5 put the biggest grin on your face and was able to keep up with the Mach 4 on the climbs, it's shaping up to be a great trail bike!!
April '09 - The weather seems to have turned and we're taking full advantage, we've done some demos in the Peaks and even taken the Mach 4's over to Wales where they ate up the Penamchno Trail
Feb '09 - We've recently taken delivery of a medium and a large Mach 4, these are built up and ready to demo, give us a call or send us an email to arrange a demo ride
1/12/08 - Having just ridden a cold and icy Marin Trail and Penmachno I can say the Mach 5 rode according to the sales blurb, it was AWESOME. I'm used to riding a 4" Titus Racer X, obviously the Mach 5 doesn't climb as well as my Racer X but it's not far off and nobody overtook me on the climbs and as for the descents, I haven't whooped and smiled so much since my holiday downhilling in Morzine!! Here's some pics of the weekend
28/11/08 - Here it is, our first Pivot Cyles Mach 5 demo bike in our workshop, it weighs in bang on 12kg (26.4lbs). Now it's off to Wales for a shake down...
28/11/08 - We're very excited here at Moor Bikes as our first Mach 5 has arrived, it will be built up as a demo bike this afternoon and shaken down at Penmachno and Marin Trail this weekend. You can't really see from the photos but there is some beautiful machining and welding on this frame, you can really see there's been a huge amount of thought gone in to the design and you can appreciate what you're shelling out for. Here's a (bad) photo of the frame, more pics of the complete bike and our forthcoming weekend to follow....
